Monday, 7 September 2026. Cash is closed for Labor Day.
Last regular session: Friday, 4 September.
This is a map of locations. It is not advice.
Market
The S&P last printed 7,718.60. The previous edition used 7,675.70. Forty-three points is movement. It is not a breakout and it is not a breakdown. The structure is still the August range: high 7,816.70, September low 7,611.20. Friday faded 0.38%. The week finished +0.1%. Price is ranging, not trending.
Inside that box the tape got more selective, not stronger. Semis expanded on Friday. The index did not follow. Strength showed up where written shelves were tested. Weakness showed up as failed tags and unfinished reclaims, not as an index collapse.
What changed since the last letter is the book. AAPL 317 printed. C 134.70 printed. CSTM 25.40–27.20 was used from the inside. SPOT 540 held on cash. LMND 51.60 was tested and reclaimed on the week. Those setups improved from waiting lines to live shelves. CLS 328 still did not print — and 2 September printed 273.80. BKR 64 was tagged and given back. SOFI $20 moved further away.
July PCE is still 3.7%. That number did not move. The collection is more selective than last week. Live names have addresses. Failed tags have lower highs. The index at 7,718.60 is a condition inside a range. It is not permission.
Dead numbers stay dead. 380 and 412 on SPOT remain stale. 105–106 on ET remains wrong. 56.40 on RKLB is still below price — do not drag it up.
Signals to watch
SPOT — Spotify
Live. Friday low 540.81, close 542.43. Week high 576.00. Cash held the written shelf.
540 is the structure. The previous edition had pre-market already under it. The cash week answered.
Next: a weekly close that stays over 540. Invalidation is acceptance back under 540 on the close, not the first red tick.
AAPL — Apple
Live. Previous edition: 317 not reclaimed. This week it printed. Friday low 317.86, close 319.97. Week high 330.81.
317 is no longer a blank line. It is a shelf that has already been faded into once.
Next: a weekly close that keeps 317 underneath price. A weekly close back through 317 that cannot reclaim it returns the name to unfinished.
CSTM — Constellium
Live. Zone 25.40–27.20. Week lows 25.91. Friday close 27.14, back on the roof.
The previous edition had price sitting on the least generous place inside the band. This week used unused space inside the zone instead of inventing space above it.
had pre-market already under it. The cash week answered.
Next: a weekly close that holds inside the band, or acceptance through 27.20 that does not immediately give the band back. A weekly close through 25.40 without a reclaim turns the zone into overhead.
C — Citigroup
Live. Previous edition: 134.70 not printed. This week it printed. High 138.55. Friday 137.72, session low 135.40.
The reclaim is on the tape. That is a structure change, not a finished sentence.
Next: a weekly close that does not give 134.70 back. A weekly close through 134.70 without a reclaim makes 134.70 a historical print.
LMND — Lemonade
Live. 51.60 had already printed as confirmation. 1 September low 50.90, daily close 51.34. The week then reclaimed and closed 53.41.
A confirmation that has printed can still be given back. This was a test, not a funeral.
Next: a weekly close that keeps 51.60 as support. A weekly close back through 51.60 that cannot reclaim it turns the line into resistance.
it printed. High 138.55. Friday 137.72, session low 135.40.
The reclaim is on the tape. That is a structure change, not a finished sentence.
Next: a weekly close that does not give 134.70 back. A weekly close through 134.70 without a reclaim makes 134.70 a historical print.
BKR — Baker Hughes
Watch. Left 50–54 in the prior book. This week tagged 64 (high 65.27, close 64.63) and finished Friday 63.50.
A poke through 64 that fails is unfinished work at the ceiling. It is not a breakout and it is not a collapse back into 50–54.
Next: a weekly close that accepts through 64 and does not immediately return it to resistance. 67 stays overhead until 64 is actually kept.
Hughes
CLS — Celestica
Confirmation needed. Previous edition waited on a 328 reclaim. 2 September printed 273.80 / 277.77. Bounce to 312.35. 328 still blank.
A violent downside day plus a missing reclaim is not a reason to invent a new box at 273.80.
Next: a weekly close through 328 that holds. Until then the reclaim is unfinished. Do not promote the 273.80 print to the level on one session.
Full signal book
The seven names above are the filter. They are not the whole book.
The rest of the map still sits in the weekly article: ET at the range high with no inherited 105 box, SOFI still missing $20, RKLB still not at 56.40, EWY / CAMT / MU still without a written dollar zone, SNDK still parabolic with no nearby weekly demand, GLW with marked support already broken, LUNR still waiting for a reversal candle.
Setup, confirmation, and invalidation for every name:
DK** still parabolic with no nearby weekly demand, GLW with marked support already broken, LUNR still waiting for a reversal candle.
Setup, confirmation, and invalidation for every name:
If a line is blank, it stays blank. The index at 7,718.60 is not permission.
Before acting on anything in the book: Is the broader trend still intact? Is price at a located level, or just lower? What would confirm buyers are back — and has it printed yet? Where is the weekly invalidation, in dollars?
If any one of those is blank, the answer is to wait. Cash is closed. Friday is the last regular print.
